North Texas Singer and Songwriter Will Ride on FOX 4 Float FOX 4 to Air Parade Telecast Twice and Provide Live Streaming on myfoxdfw.com ![]() DALLAS, December 28, 2009 — Jason Castro, the fourth runner-up in the seventh season of American Idol, will appear in the 2010 Comerica Bank New Year’s Parade (www.comericabankparade.com) in downtown Dallas. The North Texas native will ride on the float sponsored by FOX 4, the local KDFW-TV Fox affiliate in Dallas-Fort Worth. Castro’s appearance aligns with the 2010 parade theme, “Celebrate Entertainment!”Castro recently announced the Jan. 12, 2010 release of a new five-song collection entitled “The Love Uncompromised EP,” featuring his hit single “Let’s Just Fall in Love Again.” In addition to Jason Castro, country music artists Eli Young Band will appear in the parade as the Grand Marshal. Based in Denton, Texas, Eli Young Band has produced several hit singles, including “When It Rains” and “Radio Waves”. ![]() FOX 4 will televise the Comerica Bank New Year’s Parade live on Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. A 90-minute parade replay will air on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at 8 a.m. Live Internet streaming of the parade opening ceremonies will begin at 2 p.m. Friday and continue through the end of the parade. |
